The Challenge
LUXEED Robotics was building an agricultural robot. It uses lasers to remove weeds, so farmers can work without chemicals. The company needed engineering depth to strengthen the design of the modular laser unit. It also needed to prepare the unit for simulation, industrialization, and a patent filing.
Our Solution
LAUIH delivered focused engineering work. It included CAD optimization and SolidWorks simulations. It also included motion, stress, and vibration analysis. The team prepared the parameters for Omniverse simulation. This moved the design from a minimum viable product toward production readiness.
The Results
LUXEED received an optimized CAD package and simulation-ready inputs. They lowered the risk of hardware failure before fabrication. They also prepared the robot for digital-twin testing, industrialization, and patent filing.
How we deliver projects like this
LAU Industrial Hub projects are delivered by on-demand multidisciplinary teams of faculty leads, alumni seniors, and student contributors, assembled to fit each project. Work runs as a fixed-scope or milestone-based engagement under NDA-first controls, and partners keep full intellectual property on deliverables.
