The Challenge
EXIM wanted to cut water use and raise yields for potato, onion, corn, and cabbage. It lacked a proven smart irrigation strategy suited to Lebanese conditions.
Our Solution
LAUIH delivered a structured study. It covered drip irrigation, filtration, soil and water testing, monitoring technology, and FAO-based scheduling. We compared leading platforms. We built a complete concept design with scheduling logic backed by simulation.
The Results
EXIM received a roadmap targeting 20–30% water savings and 20–40% higher yields. It cuts projected water use from 102,656 to 82,125 m³ per year. It lays out phases for drip irrigation, soil-moisture monitoring, and scheduling based on evapotranspiration.
