Filling Line Optimization

Domanco
EBRD Innovation Programme
Food Processing
2024

The Challenge

Domanco’s demand was growing fast. Its semi-automatic filling and capping line could not keep up. The line created bottlenecks and needed manual help. This held back growth.

Our Solution

LAUIH delivered a full engineering package. It included a site assessment, SOLIDWORKS models, and stress and motion analysis. It also included flow simulation, electrical schematics, and a full parts list. We designed and tested changes to fill more bottles per cycle and handle larger sizes.

The Results

Filling capacity rose 67%, from 6 to 10 bottles per cycle. The line now handles bottles from 300 ml to 600 ml, which doubles the size range. Domanco received CAD models, simulations, more than 170 engineering drawings, and an automation roadmap.
