The Challenge
AYKI wanted to bring its smart farming app to life. It needed reliable, low-cost IoT hardware: sensors, communication, power, and enclosures. The hardware had to survive outdoors and work smoothly with AYKI’s cloud and mobile platform.
Our Solution
LAUIH delivered a full feasibility and design study. It covered sensor selection, hardware and software design, CAD models, power use, solar charging size, and enclosure materials. The result was a deployment-ready blueprint for building a prototype.
The Results
The final design combines soil, environment, and humidity sensing with ESP32 processing, RS485 communication, solar charging, and a cloud link. With tuned duty cycles it runs more than 9 days without sunlight. It fully recharges in about 1.6 hours from a 3W panel.
